I am a soprano who loves music in nearly every form! I have sung professionally for the past 20 years as a guest soloist with orchestras, choirs, and chamber ensembles; in opera and musical theatre; and in recital. I hold awards for singing and artistic interpretation from the Metropolitan Opera National Council and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, as well as various singing awards from the University of Montana.
Music Education has been my passion since the age of 12, when my piano teacher first showed me how it was possible to express my emotions through music. What a gift she gave me! In fact, all of the teachers, coaches, conductors, directors, and singers that I have worked with over the years have challenged and inspired me to become a better musician. I am so grateful for the the opportunity to pass that gift along to others.
Teaching is one of my greatest joys—my students are an endless source of inspiration! I also love directing the choir at St. Francis Xavier church, teaching master classes and clinics for statewide music organizations, junior high and high school music programs, and serving as a judge for various music festivals and competitions.
