About Kaye

Hello! My name is Kaye and I have been playing both piano and violin for over 20 years and played viola for over 10 years. I have worked with students of all ages from toddlers all the way to adults. I love working with ensembles and coached ensembles during my high school and college years. I have also worked closely with many students with special needs including those with motor skill disabilities and autism from both ends of the spectrums.
My studio philosophy is that everyone can learn music at any age and at any time. It is also believed that the student may learn the song that he or she would like to learn one day and to get there will be lots of hard work and dedication both from the teacher and the student.

I believe that there are 3 major parts of understanding music:
1. Listening
2. Reading
3. Playing with others
