About Samuel

Samuel Diaz is a professional musician with over 15 years of experience in performing, teaching and composing. As a teacher he has been a professor at different successful music conservatories in the Miami,Florida area during the past 10 years and has taught over 100 hundred students of all different ages. As a drummer/percussionist and FIU Jazz graduate he has performed with many jazz musicians such as Tony Succar, Sapo Tercero, Ashley Baker, Max Esquivel, Ed Calle and most notably Arturo Sandoval. As a composer he has provided many film scores to dozens of directors and producers in Florida, London, Philippines, New york, Los Angeles, and frequently collaborates with Nickelodeon star Lia-Marie Johnson on her self produced short films. Having the ability and experience to perform on many instruments has allowed Sam to share his vast knowledge with many students and working musicians alike so they can learn not only from his success but his mistakes as well. Sam's philosophy is that nothing his hard, if you are motivated and work hard anything is possible. Sam loves to help anyone and everyone who has a passion for music and wants to always take their abilities to the next level. He will always go beyond what's expected to make sure that his students always get the most out of each lesson with a fun but very educational learning experience.
